Meet the Founders
Jake
Jake is the founder of Breakthrough Talent. He’s spent over 10 years recruiting for the technology sector — including senior roles at CPS Group and Randstad, where he was twice named Top Biller — before founding Breakthrough Talent in 2024 to focus exclusively on engineering, data and AI hiring. Jake also runs Breakthrough AI, a dedicated practice supporting AI companies from seed to series funding, and hosts the Breakthrough AI Roundtable series in London, New York and San Francisco.
Izzy
Izzy is co-founder of Breakthrough Talent. She’s spent over a decade in technology recruitment — including as Senior Sales Director at Experis, where she led a team specialising in engineering, technology and executive search, and was twice recognised as a Top Biller — before co-founding Breakthrough Talent to help startups and scale-ups build the engineering, data and AI teams that drive their growth.
